恩典膏臨
Anointing恩膏這個詞匯在聖經內沒有出現。
Anointing 是用油擦 applying oil, to rub on as health and beauty treatment, to pour on as a commissioning and blessing。We are not just looking for the anointing of God with oil, but the presence of the Grace of God(what is imparted by God alone, a sense of His Holiness), that we may be Godly, happy, able, and full of graciousness[being nice].
Exodus
出埃及記 22 v27: 因他只有這一件當蓋頭, 是他蓋身的衣服, (.若是沒有.), 他拿甚麼睡覺呢, 他哀求我, 我就應允, 因為我是有恩惠的.For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.
I am gracious =
我是有恩惠的 This is fom YHWH God.We want the graciousness of God, the care of God due to His graciousness.
Deuteronomy
申命記 33 v33:23 論拿弗他利說, 拿弗他利阿, 你足沾恩惠, 滿得耶和華的福, 可以得西方和南方為業.And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.
Satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD =
足沾恩惠, 滿得耶和華的福This is what we want.

Grace
and Peace = 恩惠平安We want both Grace and Peace.

哥林多後書 1:12 我們所誇的, 是自己的良心, 見證我們憑著神的聖潔和誠實, 在世為人, 不靠人的聰明, 乃靠神的恩惠, 向你們更是這樣.For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

靠神的恩惠We want the grace of God.
2Corinthians
哥林多後書 4:14 自己知道, 那叫主耶穌復活的, 也必叫我們與耶穌一同復活, 並且叫我們與你們一同站在他面前.Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

凡事都是為你們, 好叫恩惠因人多越發加增, 感謝格外顯多, 以致榮耀歸與神.For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
Much doctrinal teaching and principles come from these 2 verses:
Knowledge and assurance of salvation, redemption and union in hope(reliance in God).
All things are for the sake of the people of God, that the GRACE having spread through many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the Glory of God.
There is the “thanksgiving” part and the “Glory of God” part as the effect/cause of GRACE.
The Glory of God is also for the sake of the people. This is what they need and enjoy seeing. Being in the presence of God is the need of mankind. Abundant thanksgiving is caused by the Grace of God.
We want to have this abundant thanksgiving and Grace of God.
Satan tries to deprive this need from man, against the wish of God.
Satan tries to deprive thanksgiving to God, and glory to God. Satan tries to steal glory from God and man.
2Corinthians
哥林多後書 9:8 神能將各樣的恩惠, 多多的加給你們. 使你們凡事常常充足, 能行各樣的善事.And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
9:9
如 (.經上.) 所記, [他施捨 (.錢財.), 賙濟貧窮. 他的仁義存到永遠.](As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
All Grace =
各樣的恩惠Satan has hate and no love. The works of Satan do not last in anything good. He is unGodly, unrighteous; the opposite of Grace. In Satan, no good work can be done.
We want all sufficiency in all things to do every good work as God does. We want to be Godly (not just like God).
We want our righteousness and that of God to remain/abide for ever!
Love holds things and relationship together for ever.
2Corinthians
哥林多後書 13:14 願主耶穌基督的恩惠, 神的慈愛, 聖靈的感動, (.常.) 與你們 眾人同在.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
The grace
of the Lord Jesus Christ = 主耶穌基督的恩惠We do not just want the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also want the communion of the Holy Spirit, and the love of God. These are communicated through the Holy Spirit.
We want it so – we do!-
願 AMEN!This is a doxology, a Christian blessing.
With this acknowledgement we are marrying to Christ, the Groom.

Exodus
出埃及記 28:41 要把這些給你的哥哥亞倫和他的兒子穿戴. 又要膏他們, 將他們分別為聖, 好給我供祭司的職分.And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.
Here we see that anointing with oil is for consecration -

就把膏油倒在他頭上膏他.Then shalt thou take the anointing oil, and pour it upon his head, and anoint him.

要叫他的兒子來, 給他們穿上內袍.And thou shalt bring his sons, and put coats upon them.
29:9
給亞倫和他兒子束上腰帶, 包上裹頭巾, 他們就憑永遠的定例, 得了祭司的職任. 又要將亞倫和他兒子分別為聖.And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.
Here we see that pouring anointing oil upon the head is not the first step in establishment. So, the preparation of God’s anointed worker does not involve pouring of oil right at the beginning.
Anointing the high priest does not start when he was an heir. It came after the mitre and holy crown upon the mitre was put on the head of the anointed. (See Ex. 30v30)
Exodus
出埃及記 29:36 每天要獻公牛一隻, 為贖罪祭. 你潔淨壇的時候, 壇就潔淨了, 且要用膏抹壇, 使壇成聖.And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.
29:37 要潔淨壇七天, 使壇成聖, 壇就成為至聖. 凡挨著壇的都成為聖.
Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy. -KJV
Here we see that anointing may repeat many times to sanctify the anointed. A seven fold atonement and sanctification makes it most holy. Whatsoever touch the altar shall be holy; and be the Lord’s.
Isaiah having the coal of the altar touching his lips (Isa 6) had his lips sanctified for the Lord.
Exodus
出埃及記 30:23 你要取上品的香料, 就是流質的沒藥五百 (.舍客勒.), 香肉桂一半,就是二百五十舍客勒, 菖蒲二百五十舍客勒,Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

桂皮五百舍客勒, 都按著聖所的平, 又取橄欖油一欣,And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:

Not just the altar is holy. Whatsoever touches the sanctified items shall be holy, consecrated.
Preparing high priest started when he is still an heir and there is a high priest. All ministers are anointed. Ministers who are not anointed may not serve as ministers.
Exodus
出埃及記 40:13 要給亞倫穿上聖衣, 又膏他, 使他成聖, 可以給我供祭司的職分,And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.

Deuteronomy

耶和華必將你和你所立的王, 領到你和你列祖素不認識的國去. 在那裡你必事奉木頭石頭的神.The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.
28:40
你全境有橄欖樹, 卻不得其油抹身, 因為樹上的橄欖不熟自落了.Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.
Here, anointing oneself with olive oil is a health treatment. This passage
Deut 28v40 is not refering to anointing holy oil, but just olive oil.(Judge 9v9)
尊重人的油 = honour manJudges士師記 9:8 有一時樹木要膏一樹為王, 管理他們, 就去對橄欖樹說, 請你作我們的王.
The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.
9:9 橄欖樹回答說, 我豈肯止住供奉神和尊重人的油, 飄颻在眾樹之上呢.
But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
Giving all sovereignty to God is to honour God and man. Anointing represents giving right to sovereignty.
Ruth
路得記 3:3 你要沐浴抹膏, 換上衣服, 下到場上, 卻不要使那人認出你來. 你等他吃喝完了,Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: but make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.
Here, anointing is a health treatment, and to present oneself as honourable.
1Samuel
撒母耳記上 9:16 明日這時候, 我必使一個人從便雅憫地到你這裡來, 你要膏他作我民以色列的君. 他必救我民脫離非利士人的手. 因我民的哀聲上達於我, 我就眷顧他們.To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.
你要膏他作我民以色列的君
= thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel a specific arrangement of anointing to be king. A king will be a saviour of his people.So Christ is anointed to be Saviour at the same time of being anointed as King.
1Samuel
撒母耳記上 15:1 撒母耳對掃羅說, 耶和華差遣我膏你為王, 治理他的百姓以色列. 所以你當聽從耶和華的話.Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.
15:2 萬軍之耶和華如此說, 以色列人出埃及的時候, 在路上亞瑪力人怎樣待他們, 怎樣抵擋他們, 我都沒忘.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

現在你要去擊打亞瑪力人, 滅盡他們所有的, 不可憐惜他們, 將男女, 孩童, 吃奶的, 並牛, 羊, 駱駝, 和驢盡行殺死.Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
耶和華差遣我膏你為王
, 治理他的百姓以色列. = , The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over IsraelA king has the order from the words of the Lord and the right to smite and destroy the enemy/designated targets of the Lord, slaying them all. This is not murdering (as non-believers like to call) but judgement, execution of justice.
1Samuel
撒母耳記上 16:3 你要請耶西來吃祭肉, 我就指示你所當行的事. 我所指給你的人, 你要膏他.And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
1Samuel full of example of anointing kings.
Samuel the Prophet will again perform the anointing. The anointed is anointed to God, who names him.
1Samuel
撒母耳記上 16:12 耶西就打發人去叫了他來. 他面色光紅, 雙目清秀, 容貌俊美. 耶和華說, 這就是他, 你起來膏他.And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
D.Lim: The Lord ordered this ritual of ordination/commission.
16:13
撒母耳就用角裡的膏油, 在他諸兄中膏了他. 從這日起, 耶和華的靈就大大感動大衛. 撒母耳起身回拉瑪去了.Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
D.Lim: The anointing oil was contained in the horn rather than in any bottle or vessel. There were witnesses. (the brothers of David in this case). The following effect is that the Spirit of the Lord came upon David and left king Saul.
So, the Spirit did not first come at the day of Pentecost after Christ.
Baptism of the Spirit, being filled with the Spirit, came as an assurance, a blessing, an emblem of belonging and commission.
Christians need the presence of the Holy Spirit for an emblem of belonging and commission to fulfil the Great Commission.
16:14 耶和華的靈離開掃羅, 有惡魔從耶和華那裡來擾亂他.
But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.
D.Lim: There is the second experience, and the presence of the Holy Spirit can leave a servant of God.
The Lord can also allow any evil spirit to trouble any servant of God.

撒母耳記下 14:2 就打發人往提哥亞去, 從那裡叫了一個聰明的婦人來, 對她說, 請你假裝居喪的, 穿上孝衣, 不要用膏抹身, 要裝作為死者許久悲哀的婦人.And Joab sent to Tekoah, and fetched thence a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead:

1Kings
列王紀上 1:33 王對他們說, 要帶領你們主的僕人, 使我兒子所羅門騎我的騾子, 送他下到基訓.The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:

D.Lim: Two servants of God, the priest and the prophet anointed him with oil. The trumpet is blown as announcment and celebration. Bless the anointed king with words of blessing.

D.Lim: One prophet anointing one foreign king.
19:16
又膏寧示的孫子耶戶作以色列王, 並膏亞伯米何拉人沙法的兒子以利沙作先知接續你.And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.
D.Lim: The same prophet anointing two types of kings, one for the gentiles and one for the Israelites. Here we have the anointing of a king of Israel by one prophet only, and the anointing of Elisha as a prophet by a prophet. In this verse it does not mention that Elijah was any priest as he was not to have Elisha in his room as anything apart from being a prophet.
Daniel
但以理書 9:24 為你本國之民, 和你聖城, 已經定了七十個七, 要止住罪過, 除淨罪惡, 贖盡罪孽, 引進 ((或作彰顯)) 永義, 封住異象和預言, 並膏至聖者((者或作所)).Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
D.Lim: Divine anointing here – the anointing of the Most Holy One or the Most Holy place.
Amos
阿摩司書 6:6 以大碗喝酒, 用上等的油抹身. 卻不為約瑟的苦難擔憂.That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

所以這些人必在被擄的人中首先被擄. 舒身的人荒宴之樂必消滅了.Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.
D.Lim: Here anointing is a health and cosmetic treatment; an expression of joy and wealth. A part of the preparation for banquet. This anointing is opposite to grief. It is a celebration.
Micah
彌迦書 6:15 你必撒種, 卻不得收割. 踹橄欖, 卻不得油抹身. 踹葡萄, 卻不得酒喝.Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.
D.Lim: similar meaning to Amos 6 vv6,7 described above.
Matthew
馬太福音 6:17 你們禁食的時候, 要梳頭洗臉,But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
D.Lim: A health and cosmetic treatment; telling of common procedure of anointing and abundance of olive oil. See:
Psalms詩篇 104v156:18
不要叫人看出你禁食來, 只叫你暗中的父看見. 你父在暗中察看, 必然報答你.That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
D.Lim: Not having one’s head anointed with oil is a sign of grief and possibly repentence.
Mark
馬可福音 16:1 過了安息日, 抹大拉的馬利亞, 和雅各的母親馬利亞, 並撒羅米, 買了香膏, 要去膏耶穌的身體.And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
D.Lim: Anointing with sweet spices rather than with oil, is the anointing for the dead.
Luke
路加福音 7:46 你沒有用油抹我的頭, 但這女人用香膏抹我的腳.My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
D.Lim: Anointing could be with oil or perfume oil. So, the use of spices such as flowers is a crude way, the idea is using perfume/scented oil to anoint body parts.

Revelation
啟示錄 3:18 我勸你向我買火煉的金子, 叫你富足. 又買白衣穿上, 叫你赤身的羞恥不露出來. 又買眼藥擦你的眼睛, 使你能看見.I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

D.Lim: More than one layer of coats possible. Same way of anointing priests to establish their office.
Everlasting yet throughout their generations. So, this office ends with their generations.
Anointing can be applied to the sons of Aaron of any generation.
Leviticus
利未記 4:2 你曉諭以色列人說, 若有人在耶和華所吩咐不可行的甚麼事上誤犯了一件,Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

或是受膏的祭司犯罪, 使百姓陷在罪裡, 就當為他所犯的罪把沒有殘疾的公牛犢獻給耶和華為贖罪祭.If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
D.Lim: The sin of one affects others. Sin and its effect spreads. The anointed priest can come to the Lord with sin offering. King Saul did not offer a sin offering when he offered an offering to God, and he was not a priest.
Leviticus
利未記 4:5 受膏的祭司要取些公牛的血帶到會幕,And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:
D.Lim: The emphasis here again is “The anointed priest”.

This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.

Psalms
詩篇 104v15:104:15
又得酒能悅人心, 得油能潤人面, 得糧能養人心.And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
This verse/record shows that oil for anointing the face and head is a cosmetic and health treatment. It could glorify the physical body.
