A Charismatic phenomenon?

Matt8v31:

8:31 鬼就央求耶穌說, 若把我們趕出去, 就打發我們進入豬群去罷.

So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

8:32 耶穌說, 去罷. 鬼就出來, 進入豬群. 全群忽然闖下山崖, 投在海裡淹死了.

And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters. -KJV

D.Lim: We see that the devils/demons can speak and make conversation while possessing an individual.

Matt12v28:

12:28 我若靠著神的靈趕鬼, 這就是神的國臨到你們了.

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Familiar words? Believable?

Mk1v34:

1:34 耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人, 又趕出許多鬼, 不許鬼說話, 因為鬼認識祂.

And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

D.Lim: We see that the devils/demons can speak. They are forbidden to speak up by the power of Jesus.

When has any Anti-Charismatic able to shut up the faculty of speech of any Charismatic by the power of Jesus, even invoking His Holy Name?

Is there some lacking of necessary power in Anti-Charismatics, their institutes, and tradition, and authority?

Can they wake up from their (deep)sleep?

Mk9v38:

9:38 約翰對耶穌說, 夫子, 我們看見一個人, 奉你的名趕鬼, 我們就禁止他, 因為他不跟從我們.

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

9:39 耶穌說, 不要禁止他. 因為沒有人奉我名行異能, 反倒輕易毀謗我.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

D.Lim: We see from Mk9v38 that a person outside any Christian denomination, incorporation, and organisation, can cast out devils/demons in the Name of Jesus. Power is in the Name invoked.

We see that both Charismatics and Anti-Charismatics can cast out demons in the Name of Jesus.

Mk9v39, speech/teaching of Jesus tells us that Exocists in the Name of Jesus are not likely to speak evil or turn against Lord Jesus Christ.

Mk16v17:

16:17 信的人必有神蹟隨著他們, 就是奉我的名趕鬼. 說新方言.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

D.Lim: Some Anti-Charismatics remove/disown this passage from Scriptures as they themselves cannot believe it, neither can they perform such deed, or clink onto this promise.

This verse indicates that Charismatics are believers of Christ, able to perform according to this promise of exocism and new tongue speaking.

Anti-Charismatics, on the other hand, cannot speak any new tongue(language of any kind that they have not learned previously.) This indicates that they are less Christian than Charismatics.

No indication from the passage that these signs have ceased. Demons are still being casted out by both groups(Charismatics and Anti-Charismatics).

Lk4v41:

4:41 又有鬼從好些人身上出來, 喊著說, 你是神的兒子. 耶穌斥責他們, 不許他們說話, 因為他們知道他是基督.

And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

D.Lim: Here we see that devils/demons can cry out and speak up. They knew Jesus.

Lk8v27:

8:27 耶穌上了岸, 就有城裡一個被鬼附著的人, 迎面而來, 這個人許久不穿衣服, 不住房子, 只住在墳塋裡.

And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

D.Lim: We see that a demonaic can move around and converse with people. This demonaic did not follow nature customs, not wearing clothing or living in any house.

We see that basicly all Charismatics live in houses and wear decent clothes. A lot dress up smartly. Pastors frequently wear tidy suits. These are not signs of demon-possession.

8:28 他見了耶穌, 就俯伏在他面前, 大聲喊叫, 說, 至高神的兒子耶穌, 我與你有甚麼相干. 求你不要叫我受苦.

When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.

D.Lim: We see that this demonaic could speak up and bow/fell before Jesus.

8:29 是因耶穌曾吩咐污鬼從那人身上出來. 原來這鬼屢次抓住他, 他常被人看守, 又被鐵鏈和腳鐐捆鎖, 他竟把鎖鍊掙斷, 被鬼趕到曠野去.

(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

D.Lim: We see that demon possession gives great strength and live in the wilderness.

Charismatics do not exhibit great strength, cannot break chains/fetters, and do not migrate into wilderness for normal/common living.

Lk9v49:

9:49 約翰說, 夫子, 我們看見一個人奉你的名趕鬼, 我們就禁止他. 因為他不與我們一同跟從你.

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

9:50 耶穌說, 不要禁止他. 因為不敵擋你們的, 就是幫助你們的.

And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

D.Lim: Here Jesus teaches that the person who is not against you in casting out demons is for you.

Lk13v32:

13:32 耶穌說, 你們去告訴那個狐狸說, 今天明天我趕鬼治病, 第三天我的事就成全了.

And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.

D.Lim: We see that Jesus works miracles even in His death, after crucifixion. We also see that healing is part of the miracles.

Charismatics hold healing meetings and have healing ministries.

Anti-Charismatics cannot heal masses. Scorn and forbid such activities.

Jesus healed in His ministries. We are His disciples and teach all we learned from Him. So, we heal in His Name, and perform miracles of healing(not just praying for the sick).

Matt8v16:

8:16 到了晚上, 有人帶著許多被鬼附的, 來到耶穌跟前, 祂只用一句話, 就把鬼都趕出去. 並且治好了一切有病的人.

When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

D.Lim: We heal as well as casting out demons.

Some Charismatics are threatened by Anti-Charismatics that by one word Charismatics may be brought down(even onto the floor). When has this ever occurred?

Jesus and His disciples are not recorded anywhere to be threatening demonaics of any kind without casting demons out. They did not threaten the illness and then hold back from healing. They healed many. Are Anti-Charismatics casting out demons from many Charismatics they encounter?

Matt9v32:

9:32 他們出去的時候, 有人將鬼所附的一個啞吧, 帶到耶穌跟前來.

As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.

9:33 鬼被趕出去, 啞吧就說出話來. 眾人都希奇說, 在以色列中, 從來沒有見過這樣的事.

And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

D.Lim: Charismatics are accused of demon-possession and indecency caused by demonic influence when they leap and bounce and roll on the floor, even making strange noises/voices.

This illustration tells us that a person is struck dumb when possessed.

It seems that Charismatics do not have dumb evil spirit.

Where have such spirits gone to? Do Charismatics repell certain kind of evil spirits while attracting others?

On the contrary, many Anti-Charismatics cannot pray out loud. Some sort of dumb spirit?

Matt12v22:

12:22 當下有人將一個被鬼附著, 又瞎又啞的人, 帶到耶穌那裡. 耶穌就醫治他, 甚至那啞吧又能說話, 又能看見.

Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

D.Lim: No report that Charismatics fail to see or speak after believing Jesus.

Many report that people who had poor vision got healed by Charismatics in healing meetings.

Demonaics casting out demons?

Where have such spirits gone to? Do Charismatics repell certain kind of evil spirits while attracting others?

Matt15v22:

15:22 有一個迦南婦人, 從那地方出來, 喊著說, 主啊, 大衛的子孫, 可憐我. 我女兒被鬼附得甚苦.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

15:28 耶穌說, 婦人, 妳的信心是大的. 照妳所要的, 給妳成全了罷. 從那時候, 她女兒就好了.

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

D.Lim: We see that exocism is part of healing.

The world has less joy and hope without healing. Ceasationism brings misery.

Mk5v18:

5:18 耶穌上船的時後, 那從前被鬼附著的人, 懇求和耶穌同在.

And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

5:19 耶穌不許, 卻對他說, 你回家去, 到你的親屬那裡, 將主為你所作的, 是何等大的事, 是怎樣憐憫你, 都告訴他們.

Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

Jn10v21:

D.Lim: Casting out demons is an act of mercy/compassion, and an act of God combined.

Matt11v18:

11:18 約翰來了, 也不吃, 也不喝, 人就說他是被鬼附著的.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.

11:19 人子來了, 也吃, 也喝, 人又說祂是貪食好酒的人, 是稅吏罪人的朋友. 但智慧之子, 總以智慧為是. ((有古卷作但智慧在行為上就顯為是))

The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

D.Lim: Even John the Baptist was accused of demon-possession.

The accusers are not right with God.

Acts and deeds are necessary.

Lk4v33:

4:33 在會堂裡有一個人, 被污鬼的精氣附著, 大聲喊叫說,

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

D.Lim: We see that a possessed person can enter and stay and shout out in a place of worship.

Anti-Charismatics are not made right by presenting themselves in places of worship.
