Healing * Faith Healing *
信心的祈禱醫治Christian Healing
By the Power/Authority of Jesus/Yeshua Christ.
By the Name of Jesus Christ
Through prayers of any believer/Christian (often expressed as spiritual command, and speaking directly to the source of problems [ie: evil spirits possessing the sufferer])
Sickness and difficulties in life and demon disturbance(including possession, and inclination to suicide) might be removed and sufferers made whole.
Mark馬可福音 16vv16-18:
16:16 信而受洗的必然得救. 不信的必被定罪.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
16:17 信的人必有神蹟隨著他們, 就是奉我的名趕鬼. 說新方言.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
16:18 手能拿蛇. 若喝了甚麼毒物, 也必不受害. 手按病人, 病人就必好了.
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
No mentioning of a dispensation that place the miracles into the past. In Mark 16v17 these signs shall follow those who believe. This includes all believers of all time. No sign or hint that healing must cease by 2nd or 3rd or even 4th century AD.
Modern believers who condemn and avoid speaking in tongues are not faithful to the truth, but the very opposite; they are faithful to their institution, their extra-Biblical traditions.
Mark 16v18 is not about prayers of faith or consolation. It is about healing, and the sick getting well.
Luke路加福音 10vv8-9:
10:8 無論進那一城, 人若接待你們, 給你們擺上甚麼, 你們就吃甚麼.
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
10:9 要醫治那城裡的病人, 對他們說, 神的國臨近你們了.
And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Healing is a command with authority given by the/our Lord Jesus. It is not an option.
James雅各書 5vv14,15:
5:14 你們中間有病了的呢, 他就該請教會的長老來. 他們可以奉主的名用油抹他, 為他禱告.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
5:15 出於信心的祈禱, 要救那病人, 主必叫他起來. 他若犯了罪, 也必蒙赦免.
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
This is not just a command of the early church/community of the faithful. James wrote his letter some decades down the time of ascension.

Many speak abusively against Christ and Christians.
Many call on the healers to perform healing in hospital, as an expression of unbelief and defiance.
People who come for prayer of healing should try to have reverence of Yhwh/God, Jesus/Yeshua, and some respect for the prayer/deliverer. They should exercise some degree of trust and faith(in God, Jesus). They should try not to have hatred against God, Jesus and the minister/believer, any friends and relative.
Luke路加福音 18vv35-43:
18:38 他就呼叫說, 大衛的子孫耶穌阿, 可憐我罷.
And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
18:39 在前頭走的人, 就責備他, 不許他作聲. 他卻越發喊叫說, 大衛的子孫, 可憐我罷.
And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
Spirit is willing but flesh is weak. God sees the heart from eternity and act sovereignly according to His good will. So, at times even people who explicitly express distrust and disrespect may get healed.
Acts使徒行傳 8vv6-8:
8:6 眾人聽見了, 又看見腓利所行的神蹟, 就同心合意的聽從他的話.
And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
8:7 因為有許多人被污鬼附著, 那些鬼大聲呼叫, 從他們身上出來. 還有許多癱瘓的, 瘸腿的, 都得了醫治.
For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8:8 在那城裡, 就大有歡喜.
And there was great joy in that city.
The consequence is great joy and not confusion with believers, for they believed the miracle worker who preached to them.
Modern day confusion arise where heretics and pseudo-christians have not been willing to submit to the spiritual authority of the preacher who work miracles. They have no shame for their lack of ability to work miracles. Instead they condemn those who do.
God chooses His own timing to act; so people who come for prayers might not be healed instantly. Both God and the spiritual prayer healer are no slave of anyone, therefore are not acting or fulfilling all wishes and demand of those who are sick or in need. No spiritual healer should be mocked or teased into submission.
Acts8v7
many were exocised, but not all. Many were healed, but not all.1Cor12v11

Intervention of God
It is said and so believe that our physical bodies have wonderful mechanism of self-healing.
God being the creator of all things may also use the built-in mechanism to heal our illness.
We have not disproved God when such healing took place after prayer. We simply confirm that prayer does work. It is not before prayer that these patients and sufferers were healed, but after prayer. In other words, such healing may be said to be triggered off by prayer. We talked to God and gave Him the glory and honor, and God intervenes, pushing the right buttons for the mechanism of our bodies to work for our advantage.
1Cor12v11; Luke9v42, Luke22v51; John5v13.

Spiritual healing of Christians is often categorised as psychosomatic.
Anti-Christians and anti-Charismatics aim to attack Biblical Christians as not working supernaturally, thinking that only supernatural things, such as miracles, are fit for God. In fact Almighty God is creator of all things and has all rights to use all of His creation, including plain ordinary things. It is the intervening blessings of God to His glory and our joy we are looking for. We do not leave God out of any picture.
All Christians ought to practice this healing if it is psychosomatic, for:
All other religions and system of belief ought to be doing such psychosomatic healing in the name of love, equility and power. They ought to be showing the world statistics that their religion indeed can heal in the same scale by the same token.
This is however not the case.
Each year we see that Christian faith healers everywhere are bringing thousands of patients/sufferers to health and happiness.
The Eternal Life Ministries of Pakistan International is have hundreds of testimonies of healing each month.
Famous Faith Healer Benny Hinn has been performing healings in his crusades from city to city, stadium to stadium, and telecasting.
Famous Evangelist Peter Youngren worked healing.
Yongi Cho who has the largest church in the World (300,000 members) does healing before large congregation.
Thousands of pilgrims, comers, patients got healed each year.
Where are similar statistics of other religions and faith groups?
How about the anti-Charismatics, how are people in their churches healed after their prayers? Do they not have faith and trust in the same God? Does God help them to any lesser extend for their holding on to the true faith?
Many churches/ministries with healing are the fastest growing churches in the World. People and members would turn away if it is fake. Patients need more than just consolation. They want to be healed. They want/need health. Big protest would break out from those who experienced healing firsthanded and turned out to be fake.
Luke9v11
[] [] []
Many evil(anti-Christian) religions, cults, ought to be performing healings to similar or even greater extend, if Charismatics heal people by evil spirits or non-Christian leaders.

I will name some written testimonies that do not appear to be psychosomatic:
"In July we were coming home to Hermosillo, Mexico when we has a terrible accident. Our four yr. old daughter Yoseline died. Our eight years old daughter Larissa Amalia, brake her skull. She had serious injury in her eye, neck, shoulder, arms and legs. The doctor told us that she could die in the next seventy-two hours. He told us, "you maybe could ask for a miracle". So I put my hands over her head, and I start praying with all my heart. I feel my hands very hot. I stop praying. I knew my daughter will live. In just ten days she left the Hospital and is in school with no problems." Gilberto34arment@hotmail.com . NOW MY FAMILY AND I KNOW, THAT HE IS REAL, READ THE BIBLE AND BE SAVED!PS. I AM SORRY ABOUT MY ENGLISH Read Acts 20:7-12 about another youth who is healed.

A few years ago, I was confined to a wheel chair, unable to stand or walk. Two surgeries later, I was still crippled. Then a friend prayed with me. I have been free of pain ever since. Don.
"Five years ago, I was diagnosed with Fulminate Liver Failure. On Thanksgiving eve, I was left to die in my hospital room. I received no medication. Later that evening, my bed was surrounded by ministers and family who anointed me and prayed for my healing. The next day the doctors were stunned by the liver panel. Then I developed Diabetes. My father prayed and my blood sugar returned to normal. Later, I suffered a fatal stroke (the basal artery was occluded). Again, the prayer of anointing and again the great white light and to the dismay of the doctors I was healed. So doubters, don't doubt the power of our Lord. He can heal, He does heal. Take it from a former doubter." Jack. "Jesus has power on earth to forgive and to heal." Matthew 9:1-7.
No indication that the doctors believed in prayer as a means of healing in such cases.
No working up of expectation and emotion.

Some testimonies of feeling like lightning struck:
"My fiance and I were living in sin when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. We both said "Well, He sure has His ways of getting his children back." He withdrew from college and moved in with his niece. We fund a good church and rededicated our lives to the Lord. At a designated healing service the associate pastor took my husband by the hand and led him to the altar. The instant the oil and the hands touched him, it was like a bolt of lightning/glory struck him. The next day, a CATscan revealed that his grapefruit-size tumor was gone. A year and a half later, I continue to give God the praise for both saving our souls, and for healing his body." I, David Lim, myself also practice healing and blessing; and by the mercies, love and sovereignty of Almighty God, people get healed.

JOKE: Baptist Dog
Posted by Fr Chuck on November 9, 2004, 9:04 pm
I hope you like this one as much as I did.
**
A family that happened to be very strong in their Baptist faith, decided they wanted to get a pet. They had one requirement -- the pet had to be Baptist, also!
So one day they drove to the pet store where they proceeded to ask the owner, "Do you have any Baptist dogs for sale, by any chance?"
Surprised by the question, the pet shop owner looked around his shop and thought about it for a while and finally nodded, saying,
"Wait... a.... minute...... yes, I think we just might have a dog that could fit your description."
The owner walks over to a group of cages and brings out a small dog to the family, and the father says,
"We need to see if this is a real Baptist dog." So the father says to the dog, "Go find a bible."
Unbelievablly, the dog runs out of the pet store, down the street, and into a church ..... returning with ..... of all things .... a bible in its mouth! He runs up to the family and plops down the book at their feet.
Genuinely impressed, the father continues, "Let's see if this dog knows its books of the bible, tho... 'Turn to the book of Psalms,'" he commands the dog.
The dog immediately opens the bible with its snout and paws through the pages .... stopping when it reaches Psalms.
Very pleased, the father buys the dog for his family and they bring it home. The next day, the family has visitors. Proudly, the family shows off their little Baptist dog and the things it could do.
Finally, the friends of the family ask, "Nice! But, can it do any other tricks that normal dogs do?"
The Baptist father wondered and said, "Hmm, I don't know. We've never tried any other commands." He then orders the dog, "Heel."
Suddenly the dog leaps onto the father's lap and places its paw on the man's head and starts to pray.
"Wait..... a..... minute!" exclaim the friends of the family.
"That dog isn't Baptist!..... It's Pentecostal!"

You might understand it better if you substitute the word "Heal" in place of "Heel". The dog is obviously laying hands (paws) on the person and praying for healing!!

No problem. While in college, I attended a Pentecostal church regularly. The laying on of hands for healing is a common practice among Pentecostals.

Ah. I guess being a Lutheran, I do not generally think about things like that. Thanks for the clarification. I do appreciate it.

Looking for a Scripture
Posted by Lance Micklus on November 9, 2004, 9:14 pm
A few days ago I was talking to some men in my Bible Study about trusting God. My point was that sometimes we have to step out in faith, doing something we may not be certain is right, but that the Lord will make it right.
I was then reminded of a Scripture that makes exactly that point. Something about not letting those who trust the Lord be put to shame. But, I can't find it.
Does this ring any bells with anybody here?

Brother Lance,
Could Psalm 25 verse 2 or verse 20 be what you are thinking of? Psalm 9:10 looks like it could be a close match as well. Hope this helps.
Yours in Christ,
Rev Todd Cruff <><
Ps25v2: O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
Ps25v20: O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.
KJVPs9v10: And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
D.Lim: We put our trust in Him and not in worldly laws. God is no respecter of man. God is with those who seek Him to the very end. There is a closeness with the Truth and glory/honor, and Holiness.

Greetings Lance: Just noticed your post today.
Here are a couple of more scripture references I hope will help you. Romans 9:32-34, 10:10-12 and 1stPeter 2:5-7. Of course, you know that this will refer you back to the book of Isaiah and other Old testament books.
Ruben
Rm9vv32-34: Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
D.Lim: It is the wisdom of God to lay a stumblingblock for the unbelieved. It is His wisdom to have strife. This is His test of shame and glory.
Rm10vv10-12: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. -KJV
D.Lim: Not believing in the law of letters, but believing in Him in Spirit and Truth. God has the last say. We who believed will not be ashamed at the end, even though we may suffer lost right now and then in the sight of the worldly ones.
1Pet2vv5-7: Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
D.Lim: We are living stones. Not just some devices of some great infallible(made to appear that way. Commanded not to doubt or deviate from their words and teachings; isolating dissenters swiftly, and punishing them with great loneliness and bad mouth) leaders.
D.Lim: It is not a matter of Legalism. Faith in God is above Legalism.
We have to believe and practice healing, for it is promised of God and commanded of Him.
All anti-charismatic agents and ministries are sinking sand. While promising security, they are destroyers and inhibitors.
The test is in God and His Word, and not in institutions and man-made traditions(extra-Biblical).
Choose today who you want to serve.
Choose God, His Spirit, over institutions and large crowds. God is no respecter of numbers.
-=-=-
Harboring the grudges of the past?
D.Lim: We have to face facts and be the light of this world. We have to speak up against evil and sin and injustice.
John the Baptist called the Pharisees who came to him
brood of vipers. A word/sentence of condemnation lacking modern social grace, political correctness, and modern redefinition of love.Jesus Christ used violence with a self-made whip at the temple to drive out legitimate commerce. He was violent and acting illegally according to the religious and civil laws of the time.
Both are righteous examples by principle for Christians to follow.
They harbor and express grudges. They spoke up. They acted upon understanding and conviction.
The modern churches on the whole do not do these and condemn these openly. They live in sin against the Word of God and against the holy brethren of God.
There is no Houdini to make the problem/sign disappear. We live in a time of apostasy of the Church. By this we know the time to live boldly and righteously for Christ, waiting patiently for Him return.Love is patient to God; not to evil men first.
Love is kind to God; not to evil men first.
In all things may God be first and placed in the prominent position of our fellowship and reverence.

NOTE: Well-known prophetic leader Paul Cain has recently
issued a Statement/ Confession, which can be found on his
website and is reprinted in full below. The reason we need to
reprint it is because many people wrote to me asking if the
Paul Cain situation was "really true", etc.
All of this is terribly sad. But as the below writer says, it is an
opportunity to PRAY for this servant of God who has now fallen
to the enemy's snares.
Mommyri1@wmconnect.com writes:
"Dear Intercessors and Friends:
I saw this letter (Below) posted in the official site of Paul Cain.
I will want to appeal to all intercessors to join hands together to
pray for this child of God. Pray that the Lord will powerfully
restore Paul Cain in the every department of his life.
The church must not kill her wounded soldiers, but nuture them to
healing and restoration... Jesus Christ is still interested in Paul Cain.
Pray and plead the blood of Jesus over Paul Cain. Pray that the
Holy Spirit will kill the desire and every work of the flesh in his life,
and the life of ministers around the church world."

Below is PAUL'S CONFESSION
[Reprinted from- http://www.paulcain.org/news.html ]
A Letter of Confession
I must apologize to the body of Christ for my recent conduct. I want
to correct the denials that I made earlier in reference to charges
brought against me. I acknowledge the following:
1. I have struggled in two particular areas, homosexuality and
alcoholism, for an extended period of time.
2. I apologize for denying these matters of truth, rather than
readily admitting them. I especially apologize to Rick Joyner, Jack
Deere, and Mike Bickle for my misunderstanding of their attempt to
discipline me according to Matthew 18. I have come to appreciate
their loving intent for me in this process.
3. I am ashamed of what I have done to hurt those close to me
and the pain I have caused those who have believed in my ministry.
Particularly, if I have hurt anyone by my actions of emotional or
sexual misconduct, I am very sorry. I sincerely ask for your forgiveness.
I have submitted to a team of leaders in the body of Christ who are
supervising every aspect of my restoration. This team is headed
by Larry J. Alberts (Fathers and Families Together, Minneapolis,
MN) and Dr. Daniel J. Kim (Destiny Training International, El Monte,
CA). Larry has considerable experience in restoration ministry and
has been requested by leaders such as John Wimber, Rick Joyner,
and Francis Frangipane to help restore highly significant ministers
in the body of Christ. Daniel directs a training center which
emphasizes biblical spirituality and prophetic reformation. I have
submitted to Larry and Daniel to develop an appropriate program,
involving professional treatments, so that I may walk in moral
purity, spiritual and physical health, and wholeness of life.
With hope in Christ,
Paul Cain
