Hyper Calvinism - How is it unbiblical, and unGodly

Hyper Calvinism bears some resemblance to Calvinism, holding to the doctrine of predestination. Everything has a fixed course in God's Plan. It goes further in believing that those who are to be saved will be saved, so that it is not a matter of christians preaching the word and trying to reach out to lost souls to effect God's plan of salvation.

Christ said:"If you love me, you will keep my commandments." - John 14 v15.

Christ commissioned His disciples to preach and teach His Word... (The Great Commission) Matt 28 v19,20; Mk 16 v15,16; Luke 24 v47; Jn 17 v20.

Paul in 1 Cor v13 tells us that a person is NOTHING without LOVE. (1Tim 1 v5)

It is not a matter of knowing every word of God. The doers, followers, the righteous are justified.

The righteous shall live by faith. - Hab 2v4; Gal 3 v11; Gal 3 v7, 24. The righteous sons of God are not justified by idleness, separating themselves from the preaching of repentance. Christians are not monastics, hiding away from the world.

Paul and many apostles laid down their lives for the preaching of the gospel.

The duty of preaching the word does not rest on the apostles alone. Christ commanded all who believes. Mark 13 v37. Prisilla and Aquilla were not apostles and were believed to be laymen; yet they worked to preach to gospel, explaining it to Apollos and working with Paul. Ananias went to Paul; Timothy was commanded to do the work of an evangelist - 2Tim 4 v5.

There are to be elders, overseers in the churches of God in cities. They are to preach the gospel to all they can reach. Evangelist never just evangelise a close circle of believers in any church. They are out-reaching ministers. Elders (Presbyters) are out-reaching as to evangelise the gospel.

Believers may also aspire to be overseers. - 1Tim 3v1. Do Hyper-Calvinists aspire to evangelise the world for Christ? Do they pray to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel? Do they try to reach people outside their churches? Do they even care for their own family members?

Indifference?

Calvinists never convince Arminians that everything is just pre-destined, as God does allow the act of will by men and spirits. This will is felt real and free. Feeling is not everything of reality. It is placed and caused by God. he brings everything to fruition. There is no absolute free will. (Isa 64v6; Jer 17v9; Prov 14v12; John 3v3; Titus 3v5; Rom 3v23; John 14v6; 1Pet 3v18) The whole Gospel point to this truth.

Freewill is shown to be incomprehensible, and contradicts the bible; because it is not the biblical truth. Freewill apart from God is lawlessness, is sin, is sinning.

Freewill advocates are really proud people, expressing they are saved by their decision. They are self-righteous people, blaming the lost souls for deciding not to accept Christ.

Did God not tell us that He hardened the heart of Pharaoh?

Was the sins of Isaiah forgiven before he decided to have the hot coal touching his tongue?

Did Paul choose to be irradiated and decided that all he need is the pre-destined miracle to begin believing in Christ?

Did Apollos choose to preach John's gospel until he was told the Gospel of Christ? He knew not the whole truth to preach Christ then.

Did Peter decide only the deny Christ for 3 times? Did Christ not pray for him beforehand and decided the outcome?

Did the 12 disciples choose to believe in the resurrected Christ at the cross? Did Christ not open their eyes afterwards?

God chose you. God keeps you.

God partially hardened the hearts of Israel so that the Gospel and salvation may be preached to the gentiles. Israelites did not choose to reject Christ in order to have the Gospel preached to the whole world. God is in control even before the events take place.

Zech 11 v16 - For behold, I am going to raise up a shepherd in the land who will not care for the perishing, (Jn 17v9) seek the scattered, heal the broken, or sustain the one standing, but will devour the flesh of the fat sheep and tear off their hoofs.

Christ only keeps His inheritance (Jn 17 v11) which is not of the world (Jn 17 v14). His inheritance includes those who come to believe through preaching the word (Jn 17 v20).

Who would have passed the Word of Salvation to you, if all they care (like Hyper-Calvinists) is to worship God behind closed unwelcomed doors, and no evangelism?

Should you now turn against the shepherd, the preacher, the needy, the ignorant, the people of God, and close all your doors?

Let Light shine through.
