The way Jehovah God presents His Biblical/Scriptural Revelation
Many must have wondered how the God of Israel would sum up His way of bible revelation.
An answer is revealed in the following passage.Isaiah Ch 28 v13:
v12: ... this is the repose. But they willed not to hear.
v13: Yet the word of Jehovah to them was
rule on rule;
rule on rule;
line on line;
line on line;
a little there;
a little there;
that they may go and stumble/fall backward and be broken, and snared, and taken/captured.v14: Therefore, hear the word of Jehovah, men of scorn, rulers of this people, who are in Jerusalem.
This is a passage written to and for unbelievers, the opposition to the faith. And it does not take into account/have any respect on how the opposition would like/prefer God to express Himself.
God spoke as if to babies, using childish words/language. This kind of speech is quite universal.
Such speech oversimplifies the truth to the extend that little mistakes are instilled into the expression. Nevertheless, the universal/major/main themes can come across as main points that can easily to spotted.
So God treats mankind as babies; and speak with simple truths. And why not?
Many have protested that revelation and facts are too profound to search through and understand. Few would complain of the depth of meanings of baby language... Dar.Dar means Hit.Hit, means thumb.thumb. and O.O means Oh.Oh! ... there is a lack of confusion.
spoon-feeding is better (easier to receive/take, and absorb, and manage) than hothousing/stuffing.
---
Rule, Rule: It is less tiring to listen to short precepts. It is easier to build understanding and practice rule by rule, rather than having rules with long complication and sub-section and sub-clauses, and exception.
However, for those who would only accept complicated rules as reasonable, this becomes a stumbling block to their understanding.
This simplicity insults their intellectual pride; and they do not like insults of any sort/kind/magnitude.
---
Line - line, line - line: repetition helps memory.
The word of God needs to be learned by heart. And God even helps the learners and His oppositions to learn His ways/will/plan.
And they responded in detest, not accepting childish methods; only welcoming heroic criteria. (something that pioneers science, and satisfy universal greed and peace, something that contradicts and yet in complete harmony)
---
A little there, a little there: thus Jehovah justifies the need to search and understand the whole of scriptures.
His revelation are in bits and pieces, in short lines and groupings of a few words; scattered in different parts of His spired word/scriptures. Something here, and something there also.
So the whole picture is one that is pieced together through centuries of revelation.
So the words spoken earlier is shown to come to pass later in another era. He tells of the future from the past. He surpasses time and space. And He is the same then and now; now and the time yet to come. From the past He already knew the future.
We can find satisfying lines and rules even in part of scriptures, for the answers to many questions can be found in many different biblical revelation.
What is not very clear in one part is supplemented by another passage. We do not get hopelessly lost by lossing one book or one passage.
We rest assured that there is enough daily bread.
We need not finish up one topic absolutely thorough before learning and applying another precept and another line. For line is written after line. There we find His blessing; and there also, we find His help.
---
And the oppositions willed not to hear from this method of expression.
And Satan, the enemy, is there to capture them by providing instant answers, and immediate glory.
---
v12 mentioned that this is the repose/rest, and v14 points directly to the scoffers, men of scorn, the rulers/leaders (those who are on high, in leading position); they are not contend with what is given. They are restless in spirit/mind, to establish their own rules.

Rational thinkers, sceptics:
This does not make sense to informed opposition.
We demand/require hard scientific evidence that the revelation is absolutely true we commit ourselves to believing the bible.
Our received information show that this is not rational. Such ideas should be left for babes. And when we grew up, we casted away childish ideas/thoughts.
You really think this revelation of yours hold water facing so much opposing evidence we have today?
Any lie can be made truths with so many mistakes overlaid.
Jehovah does not need to give His last word in full now and then; for He had planned His redemption for His chosen ones and judgement at the time to come.
What is dimly seen now will be as light brighter than the sun. Nothing will be hidden.
Who can comprehend God completely? Who can understand life fully? And we all live on in faith that what we know is sufficient for life to be carried on to another day. And our parents assure us so, although they do not have all the answers for all the questions.
As for the babies, they will trust their parents. God has promised protection and care. By faith they trust and live on; not by a sense of full knowledge/comprehension as some in the world would like to function with.
