Just like singleworded sermons, prayers can be very short, concised, condensed, single-pointed as well.

Prolonged prayers are not necessarily powerlaiden.
Short prayers to God call for quick help.
Gen22v8 - JehovahJireh - The Lord/Je will provide. A famous prayer and answer of Abraham; placing his trust for the provisions of God.
This has become a famous term, and often misunderstood to be a name of God.
It is he who believes in His sure provision, when nothing seems to be present. It is hope against hope, believing in an unforeseen promise and salvation, placing ones utmost trust, as a blind in the dark, to the loving hand of God.
A quick call for salvation/help -Matt8v25; Matt14v30; Jn12v27.
Quick, simple, but effective.
It is sufficient at a time of need because the Spirit intercede for the people/elect of God. The Spirit knows how and what to present for the best of those in need.
Maranatha is a short prayer of Paul. (1Cor16v22) - meaning: (May) Our Lord come.
Passages of similar meaning may be found in Rom9v3; Phil4v5.It is a subjection of oneself to Christ, His Power and Dominion. A longing of His presence.
It is an expression that the love of Christ/God ought to be amongst Christians, in their hearts and on their months (in their words).
It relates to a curse regarding those who does not love the Lord, to the extend that they even profess that. [An example of such hatred may be seen on hatred towards Christians via e-mail] Chrisians in response to these people, even pray more earnestly for them, that they might come to the saving love of Christ. If it is the will of God, let their curse of darkness be removed at a proper time.
