A Prayer from Ruppert

Accepting Christ need not be difficult. It is hardly complicated.

Ruppert was a very young boy, whose parents did not believe in Jesus.

His parents, though they did not believe in God, were not wicked and unloving people in the sight of many.

Every night, Ruppert's father would tell him a bed time story by the side of his bed.

One evening, Ruppert asked his father a question - Why is that the main character in the story always happy?

"It is because he believes in Jesus Christ." his father answered, remembering what he was taught in class during his younger days. "He is a Christian."

"How then, can I believe in Jesus Christ?" Ruppert asked his father.

"A..h! by closing your eyes and praying/speaking to Jesus Christ, telling Him you receive Him as your Saviour and God." his father explained.

Ruppert had a simple faith. He wanted to receive Christ, without even seeing Jesus in a picture.

Later Ruppert did just that; and was happier in heart than before; telling his friends he has received Christ and is a Christian. He is happy ever after.

Let us learn to be simple before God and in our faith.
