Single-minded Love

Psalm 119 v113:
I hate those who are double-minded,
But I love your law.

Jehovah does not change. He is the same yesterday and tomorrow.

To love God, we also love His character, and attributes.

To love God, we also despise those that oppose God and our loving relationship with God, who is Love.
The love of Love has no double-standard; for it is the same righteous standard.

The righteous law of God does not hold sway/change. There is no shadow of doubt.

And double-standard is antithesis to love and righteousness; for it holds uncertainty.
It change from shadow to shadow, from doubt to doubt, from situation to situation.

---

A follower of Christ is taught by the Bible to both love and hate.

A Christian ought to hate people apart from loving people. For the Bible says so. And God tells us through scriptures that He loves and hates at the same time (eg: Rom9v13).

A Christian should hate all that is ungodly, all that sets christians apart from the loving relationship with God.

Obeying the law of God is being faithful to what is unchanged and unchangable, and being god-like. Should spotless mankind not have the image of their maker who is unchanged, and unchanging?
No double-standard. - No schism.

---

There is a lie teaching people not to hate.

There is also a lie teaching people to hate only the character and attributes of sinful men, and not men themselves.

Such are not taught in scriptures, as this verse from the Old Testament teaches.

(I hate those who are double-minded) is what the word of God says.
Not just hating the double-minded and loving those who contain such minds.
Rejecting the source that cause the phenomenon rather than rejecting the phenomenon, leaving the source to keep creating phenomena. The word of God would have told us so if love can turn all evil good, and all evil doers saints. But! the Bible tells us that there are those Christ never knew; those who will enter eternal damnation after admonition failed, signs, miracles and prophesy failed, warnings failed, preachings and reasoning failed.
No man-made law is yet so kind as to endure continuous, persistent violation until the very end before passing out the final judgment. Wherever there is law, punishment is in place for those who do not keep the peace.

Christ paid the penalty, only if the violators would be sorry of their ways and come back to the Holy God having their faith in the redemption of Christ. Too much to ask of anyone? What would you take between eternal Life and eternal Death?

The Word and gospel of God do not change from situation to situation; for they are of God, being righteous, holy and faithful.

Faithfulness that change is something that does not standardise, something that betrades trust and absolute honesty.

But God can not lie. His words are therefore pure.

God is in Heaven. He is holy, being set apart from worldly standards that change from era to era, from schism to schism, from epoch to epoch.

God is the standard, the reference point by which/whom we can calibrate all our senses and understandings. In Him is no deceit.

Jehovah/God has spoken; who can, but prophesy?

The loving Father gives the Son the best, and the Son gives the Church/His bride the best, all in a loving and sharing (giving and receiving) relationship (John 16v28, 17). God loves His people so much that He died for mankind; The Father did not spare His Son in the effort to redeem humanity (John 3v16).

In God is unsearchable wealth of sufficiency, love, joy... He was in the beginning; and darkness has never comprehended God (John 1).

---

God and His Word/Way by definition is infinite, eternal, everlasting and true.
Therefore He cannot be measured/quantified by finite, everchanging science and human understanding and deduction; all so limited by time, and place and power and truth.

The nations made an uproar. But He who is in heaven laughs, looking down upon the limitations of the arrogant, the proud and the double-minded.
