Silver plate discovered in the Crimea, c.550, Hermitage, Leningrad
The cross in between 2 angels have no body on it. A correct understanding that the cross has become a symbol of the longsuffering faith. Christ is no more nailed to the cross.
The 3 larger symbols rhombus, circle and square on the cross could signify the trinity. A better understanding that the christian faith is about the 3 in 1 Godhead, and not a crucifying Christ nailed at the wrong place. Christ has already won.
