Roman Catholic Unity disintegrating. Unifying?
The Roman Catholic Church likes to give the impression that it is the Catholic (only one unity) Church; one with supreme undivided authority over christiandom.
Christ and the bible never teach that the Church of God in Christ is Roman nor is it Catholic.
No local church recorded in the bible demonstrated overwhelming authority on all other assemblies and congregations; not even on some contemporary churches.
The church / assemblies in Rome never exalted itself above other assemblies of God.Jesus, the apostles, prophets, and scriptures never teach that the earthly churches will always have unity, total / absolute communion, and united under one Roman banner.
Colossians Ch2 v8.The Roman Catholic Church itself is disintegrating; having contradiction and faction. Believers from within are turning to different pattern of practice and faith.
Martin Luther could be described as a monk and a scholar turning away from being RC.
He married a nun.Not all Austrian RCs support Papal outlook completely.
Recently Sinead o'Conner, a mother of 2 and married twice, was ordained by a RC group/sect (the Latin Tridentine Church in Lourdes, France) as the first woman/female priest (Mother Bernadette Mary O'Connor).
The same person tore up a picture of the pope on Saturday Night Live, 1992.
This pop / rock & roll singer is also seeking another marriage.
[ Time - May10 - 99, p.55 ]Woman/female priesthood, separate/extra-papal authority, marriage, family, and sex are all violation of the rules set and enforced by the Vatican. Yet who cares in 2001?
This woman is regarded as a Catholic Priest (not by the official Roman Catholic Church, Vatican; but by a certain RC sect).
The Anglican church (another church claiming to be catholic and apostolic) has also established women priesthood, vicars and bishops.
On 18 May 99, Vatican has ordered a Bishop not to speak for married priests in a conference.
It is easy to disown disunity and claim that unity is maintained. But who believes that?
It is easy to claim that the Roman Catholic church is the only true and complete source of Christ, His approval, institution and blessings.
But who believes that?
The Bible does not support that.
Born again christians do not support that.
Is adherence to the RC faith absolutely everything? And...
No blessing from happiness in Christ?
No blessing from charity and peace making in Christ?
No blessing from preaching the gospel of Christ (following His instruction) to all mankind?
No blessing from organisations that are not Roman Catholic? The Galilian Sect? The Jerusalem Sect? The Pauline Doctrin?
No blessing from aledged Schism and Heresies?
All blessings to an organisation that does not adhere to the whole bible, being extra-biblical, having contradiction, unrepentant of her wrongs, non-transparent and progressively more worldly?
Any blessing and truth from the RC church who lies? (eg: telling people catholics do not worship the Virgin Mary) Go in front of statues of Mary, such as at the shrine of Fatima, and observe.
If kneeling and praying to a statue is not worship; what is? Jesus did not teach praying to Mary or any saint for anything.
Such act ( kneeling and praying in their names, eg:Hail Mary ) is homage only paid to God or idol for worship.
Any blessing and truth from the RC church who lies? (eg: telling people that Mary can interceed for christians) Christ and the Bible/inspired Word of God never even mention that.
Christ alone is the propitiation of our sins. He is the chief priest interceeding for christians/the elect.(eg: 1Jn 2v2)
Any blessing and truth from the RC church who lies? (eg: Infalibility of the Pope, who contradicts scriptures)
Any blessing and truth from the RC church who lies? (eg: telling people that the christian bible is handed down by the Roman Catholic authority, being the keeper of the truth)
The Vatican got scriptures from other sources. The scriptures were not written in the, nor by the Vatican for the RC church. Custodians are not creators and law makers.
None of the New Testament books are said to have been written in Rome or Italy.
Peter was in Jerusalem with the 12 in the beginning, and brought to Rome later by force. To die there as witness or to rule there?
The Leningrad Codex was not first found in Rome. It has never been called the Roman or Vatican Codex. There is only one Vaticanus Codex. Very few in number!
The oldest fragments of scriptures were not discovered in Rome or in the library of the Vatican. The atested gospel of John (early 2nd century) is in John Ryland's library, Manchester, England.
RCs were like Hijackers/terrorists holds truth/scriptures for ransom, holding people at bay from their normal contact.
The christian world might be without the whole bible for some time. This does not mean authority must be surrendered to the Roman Catholic church, for reason that she had more scriptures in custody.
The Dead Sea Scroll is not discover by Catholics.
Many fragment of scriptures have been found in Egypt, and are being unearthed there.
The compiler and keeper of scriptures/texts is not by default the only source of truth. Our libraries are not institutions of truth and judgment. They are merely store houses. Libraries are not legislative organisation of justice. they make no rule for users. users make rule for their use. The Vatican is at best a library vault; still keeping the public from accessing all christian artifacts stored therein. Charity by blindness, biased intention and attitude, and indifference.

Zambian bishops denounce archbishop's marriage in New York

LUSAKA, Zambia (May 29, 2001 10:25 p.m. EDT) -Roman Catholic bishops in this southern African nation criticized their former archbishop Tuesday for breaking his vows by marrying, which they contend is contrary to church rules. Emmanuel Milingo, 71, was wed Sunday in New York City by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, leader of the Unification Church.
The bishops said that Milingo had betrayed his vows because he was still under his priestly commitments.
Milingo said he had kept his priestly vow of celibacy since 1958 but decided it's time for Catholicism to change.

And the free gift(no work/labour involved; we only need to receive it) of God is everlasting life.

I would add that Hitler paid his Church dues his entire life and was never excommunicated so technically he is still a member in good standing with the Catholic Church.
