Are Bible Christians most gullible?
Bible Christians are not necessarily poorly educated people, the scum of societies.
Some are presidents of states(eg: Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Bush); some are presidents of companies(eg: David Lam, Sandy Chim); some are University professors(eg: Milton Wan); some are detectives; some are scientists; some are millionaires(eg: K S Lee); school headmasters; PR managers; directors; achievers(eg: Dr. I S Leung).
This suggest that they are not at all likely to be born stupid, or turn stupid after receiving education.
No doubt, some students of Christian professors and teachers turned out to be professing believes other that the Bible Christian Faith. And these people are not necessarily poorly educated or stupid.
So it seems that the degree of education, and among of wealth and power do not determine faith or gullibility of Bible Christians.
Is it easy to believe and trust in the Bible? Atheists and skeptics claim it is not. They have rejected the Bible as inaccurate history, fairy tale, immoral .... Against such accusation, rejection, scorn, indignation, it takes guts, experience, stiff spines, stout faces, and self-esteem, to proclaim before overwhelming majority of opponents that the Biblical Faith is sound and worth trusting with ones life.
It is clear that Bible Christians do not take of the stand points of Atheists. Should they not be gullible enough to believe in the majority of men? Are not such example of power and intelligence and achievement easier for belief than inaccurate history? Terrifying moral? And closer at home than an invisible spiritual God that cannot be tested?
Is this proof for Christian gullibility? Is guts proof of gullibility?
Is the ability to believe and trust in the unseen the strength of gullibility?
Is the ability to take side gullibility?
Is the ability and guts to stay at the side of the minority, weakness? Gullibility?
In the contrary, is the act of joining the majority, likely to be cowardly, and show gullibility?
Is following the latest trend and news, that are everchanging and unpredictable, gullibility?
Is it gullibility to believe that the Red Sea had splited open long enough just for the Israelites to cross over? And the Egyptians, who were better educated and fed, to have misjudged the closing of the sea? How come you are certained when the sea will open and close and they were not? Does this take some big leap of faith?
How can you explain by natural phenomenon that the waters of the Red Sea stood up like walls? Science or faith?
Is it gullibility to ignore the flood of Noah when there is an ancient ship on the mountain range of Ararat, one of the tallest mountains?
Is it a leap of faith to ignore the Ark sitting in the Parrat Glazier half way up mount Ararat? How did scientists and engineers put it there?
Is it a leap of faith to ignore the prophesy of Israel reviving its country and nationality and culture after almost 1,900 years of utter dispersion? Thai Chinese do not maintain their Chinese culture and name. Americans do not maintain their English of the time of Shakespeare. Food culture and fashion have changed. VietNamese can not write Chinese or ancient VietNamese and have to use French symbols. Chinese dresss themselves in Western costume.
Yet you are certained that the revival of the State of Israel is short of miraculous?
How natural is this stubbornness?
Is this how you prove somebody not gullible?
Bible Christians would have rejected the Bible(The Word of God), if it were so easy as atheists, skeptics, and believers of other religions put it. (To face the facts? To face the truth? To face the World? Look who is talking.) It would have been rejected if it were that easy?
Reason advocates that it is not.
Personal experience confirms that it is not.
Spiritual encounterings ascertained that it is not.
Improvement of moral, virtue and love show that it is not.
Conversion of Atheists demonstrates that it is not.
There, in the Word of God, is peace, satisfaction, fulfilment, strength, moral, kindness, forgiveness, faithfullness, care, wisdom, promises, relationship, making the believers sound and at rest with the Father, with the self, with Christ and with His creation.
Who can be against us, if God Almighty is with us? ?
