Deceitful hearts as reflected in the news of 17 Dec 1998.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
-Jeremiah 17 v9.Scoffers say that the evangelists/preachers are not they themselves; how could they possibly know their sins and their hearts?
It is possible to know; because the bible ( Holy/set apart Scriptures ) says so. And because their deeds shouts out for justice. What is done (even in the dark) cannot be hidden.
On 17 Dec 1998 we have a number of news stories that reflect the reality of the swayful hearts:
PARIS (December 16, 1998 12:22 p.m. EST http://www.nandotimes.com) - A Paris appeals court handed down a tougher sentence on Wednesday for controversial writer Roger Garaudy after finding him guilty of racial libel, questioning the Holocaust and provoking racial hatred.
Till now, there are people who refuse to accept facts of modern history. No doubt there are those who can not accept the history of the 2,000 year old Christ and the history of Abraham and Moses. It is not a matter of lacking evidence. How come there is doubt when the Jews have photos, bodily wounds/scars, international declaration, lost properties, museums, stolen treasures, war criminals, bones and graveyards, certificates, citizenship and immigration records and documentaries to prove that?
Do you have evidence of similar or stronger weight that your family exist? Does that mean you came from a devious source, and do not deserve respect? You said it all.
Even earthly punishment cannot change the minds of such doubters. Where is justice?
And they speak ill of things they doubted (which means they are supposed to be uncertained of) and stir up hatred in a wide scale. It is not just doing nothing. It is not negligence. It is evil in action.

It is not the majority who rules. Respect for the public is not of prior consideration.
The manufacturer of consumer goods is not user-friendly. When are you assured of user-friendly programmes? Where is the warmth of consideration? Everybody is in the midst of trade wars; wars of world domination. They do cost you an arm and a leg! There are many types of bombs and weaponry.
Bill Gates and his company have not expressed any form of sorrow, so far in the case. Is he, or are they the kind of human beings you are akin to? Acustomed to? Befriended with? Fond of?
NABLUS, West Bank (December 17, 1998 11:05 a.m. EST http://www.nandotimes.com) -- In a quick mood reversal, thousands of Palestinians chanted "Death to Clinton" and burned U.S. flags Thursday to protest U.S. airstrikes against Iraq.
Only two days earlier, President Clinton was cheered during a visit to the West Bank and Gaza Strip that was widely seen as implicit U.S. recognition of Palestinian claims to independence.
What a quick change.
Arab support suddenly turned to side with a dictator, a war criminal and a population who, by their indifference and visible support identify their moral and deeds with this Iraqi dictator.
What unstable mood! Something not supported by unchangable moral and written religious principles. Nobody quote the Koran for support of their position.
Palestinian hatred was broadcasted round the world. A hatred against their human friends and brothers, and another country. Hating somebody their publicly welcomed onto their land. Hating their helper.
You want to see Islamic love for their enemies and friends. You get it again. Nil! Desparately wicked, as written in Jeremiah 17 v9. (The Divine Scriptures against the Qur'an) Choose today who you will serve. -Joshua 24 v15.
Is the human heart deceitful above all things? Come to Christ and let Him heal you. Your sorrow and fear. Perfect love casts out fear. In Christ is love, hope, peace and joy.

Were the Americans regarded as invaders and evil; in changing the political and social structures of other countries? Her troops seen as evil forces?
How come they are asked to stay when non-Americans have needs? How come the world does not condemn this invasive move of helping the rebuilding of an overseas country?
So, people are good and helpful when you need them; and the same are evil and disposable when you do not need them. You are the slave drivers at heart; using people at will, and ever-changing your justification.
