Hong Kong-born and Toronto-based, David Chee Seng Lim has immersed himself in Art and Photography since kindergarten time. Learning Art from Art Masters and daily living, he has developed personal styles and held Exhibitions in Hong Kong, Great Britain and Canada. Personal photo exhibitions frequently held in Ontario.
He had taught Photography courses at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Markham, Ontario (1993-5 ) and produced successful Professionals and award-winning Art Photographers. Able Photographers are emerging from his private tutorial.
While there is unavoidable colour shift caused by lighting, photo-chemistry and optics, David Lim selects lenses of Superior Optical Performance such as being virtually distortion free; producing extremely honest details .
Being an Art Master steep in personal creation David Lim often challenges all existing regulations in his work with surprising results.
Camera format in use includes: 35mm, 6x6, 6x7, 6x9, 4"x5", 8"x10" and 11"x14".
Employing Leica, Contax, Zeiss, Rollei, Nikon, Cambo, Linhof, and many more.
Lens range from fish-eye to super-telephoto over 1000mm.
