Very often we try to do too much too soon.

We try to inflate our knowledge and position, and the promises of God to us. We try to claim sovereignty in whatever areas we reached(may it be local or overseas) and demand submission from all other brethren.

Has God not called us or such people(who exhibit failures in life) to His service and action?

Has Gid failed them?

Let us turn back to Scriptures.

Daniel但以理書12vv8-9:

12:8 我聽見這話, 卻不明白, 就說, 我主阿, 這些事的結局是怎樣呢.

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

12:9 他說, 但以理阿, 你只管去. 因為這話已經隱藏封閉, 直到末時.

The revelation came to Daniel before he knew what to ask and expect.

He did not understand, but did not pretend to understand. He did not carry out a teaching mission. He did not rush to conclusion. He humbled himself and addressed the angel/messenger as his lord.

Dan12v9 tells Daniel the prophet and us to go our way and carry on our devotion faithfully.

Let us trust God that He will finish what He started in briliant ways.

Let us humble ourselves and do the parts alotted to us, and let God carry out His plan by His ways.

Let us rejoice with God in His planning and timing.

God is good, and His plan must be good plan.

We are experience Elijah ministry or John the Baptist ministries at this end time of ours. Some have failed living up to faultless lives and teachings by believing and teaching people they are the restorers of the church of God.

In fact, God has given each of His servants a part of His plan. The rest, the complete restoration is left to God Almighty, the only wise, to pull together.

John the Baptist and Elijah never understood the whole picture or preach the whole truth.

They did what they were called for, and alloted with. Their reward is laid up in heaven. They did not miss anything.

John the Baptist did not know Jesus Christ, his cousin very well. That was not important.

John the Baptist did not live and walked with Christ physically. That was not called for.

He just carried out his mission and died in obedience.

We need to learn to be faithful and contend with what we have.

Elijah enabled his disciple Elisha to have a double portion/share of the power of the Spirit.

He did not try to be the greatest and most powerful prophet and leader of all times. He did his share.

Let us fear God and love God. For the love of the brethren and the creation springs from our subjection and love to God.

1Corinthians哥林多前書13vv9-12:

13:9 我們現在所知道的有限, 先知所講的也有限.

13:10 等那完全的來到, 這有限的必歸於無有了.

But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

13:11 我作孩子的時候, 話語像孩子, 心思像孩子, 意念像孩子. 既成了人, 就把孩子的事丟棄了.

Love is not Pacifism(based on 1Cor13 especially v6)

How often we behave in childish fashion, only if Anti-charismatics would humble themselves to admit.

Pretending to be Evangelicals and rule out other Evangelicals is a childish act.

We are yet to grow up more.

A human rationale is to rush at things, and to get everything imaginable done immediately. This is not lovingkindness, neither is it wisdom nor obedience.

Our dear Lord God has His timing. Alleluia! Thank God for His wisdom, and our part in it(which is not too burdensome).

Trust your shepherd, o Israel!

Mark馬可福音13vv35-36:

13:34 這事正如一個人離開本家, 寄居外邦, 把權柄交給僕人, 分派各人當作的工, 又吩咐看門的儆醒.

For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

13:35 所以你們要儆醒, 因為你們不知道家主甚麼時候來, 或晚上, 或半夜, 或雞叫, 或早晨.

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

13:36 恐怕他忽然來到, 看見你們睡著了.

John約翰福音14vv4-6:

14:4 我往那裡去, 你們知道. 那條路, 你們也知道. ((有古卷作我往那裡去你們知道那條路))

14:5 多馬對他說, 主阿, 我們不知道你往那裡去, 怎麼知道那條路呢.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

14:6 耶穌說, 我就是道路, 真理, 生命. 若不藉著我. 沒有人能到父那裡去.

We are to preach the Kingdom in Christ. He is the way.

Failure of many preachers is that they turn to their organisation, corporation, denominational traditions and history, human establishment and personal intellect, excellence and sacrifice in living, instead of staying in Christ and coming forth from Christ.
